Pierre Crestin

PHOTOGRAPHER

   Hi, I'm Pierre Crestin. I was born  in Arles, located in Provence,  southern France. My Provencal french background has shaped my love of gardening, cooking, traveling, soccer, art and photography. I grew up in Camargue,   famous for its birds, flamingos, wild horses and bulls. My love of the outdoors and wild life spans back to my childhood and I hope to pass on some of this to others through my photos. 

In 1976 I moved to the USA and I've  called New York and California home before settling in the central Texas area in 2008.

 I have dry macular degeneration and reading is very challenging, but still love doing  photography.

Recently I retired and am looking forward to relaxing and focusing my energies on my creative interests. Photography and painting have been lifelong hobbies of mine. I also love to explore new cultures and places. My wife and I travel quite a bit to France and Mexico and look forward to more trips, places and photo opportunities soon. I am excited to start sharing my work with the world!

Joy of a morning walk. Seeing the first rays of light, listening to the birds' melodious songs and the footsteps on the crispy fall leaves. Looking at the mirrored serenity of the sky clouds and colorful tree lines on the calm water of the river, a graceful white egret or a majestic blue heron coming into view at the river curve. Feeling the warmth of the sun on your face as it rises, capturing the peace and serenity in photos my friends can enjoy. That my kind of walks.
